1. Using DarkBay
- What is DarkBay?
- It's an anonymous darknet market that operates in Tor network.
- Do I need to register?
- Unlike other markets, you don't need to sign up to make an order. However, we recommend to register in order to store your cart and order history. You also get trust points for every sucessful transaction.
- How to find a product?
- To find an interesting product, you may:
- type in a search box, e.g. hacking guide
- browse categories on left panel
- browse stores
2. Selling on DarkBay
- How to start selling?
- Register and create a store. You may create multiple stores.
- How much selling costs?
- You don't pay to start selling. There are no fees.
- How to feature my item?
- After you post an offer, you will be able to make it featured for a small fee.
- Can I sell illicit items?
- It's strictly forbidden to sell or buy items that are illegal in your country. Consult a local lawyer to make sure if it's legal to sell or buy certain product. Note that *****, hitmen and other harmful services are prohibited and you will be banned.
- How to improve selling?
- Write detailed information about the product
- Write where you ship from and to
- Write how you package items
- Write contact information, e.g. Telegram, Wickr, WhatsApp
- Take and upload real photo of the item (in case of physical product) or take a screenshot (in case of digital goods) that will prove legitimacy of your offer. It's also common practice to hand-write market name (DarkBay) on a sheet of paper and photograph it with the item you sell to show evidence that you really own the product.

3. Escrow
- What is escrow and how does it work?
- When you pay for your order, darknet market holds your funds and it's not released to the seller until you confirm that you received the product. This makes every transaction safe and protects you against potential frauds.
- What if I don't receive the product?
- Then you should start a dispute. If you don't receive the product, you will get your money back.
- What if I receive the product?
- Then you should release funds to the seller. If you forget it, the seller may start a dispute against you.
- Can I pay directly to the seller?
- Yes, you may make a deal directly with seller. In this case you are not protected by escrow system against frauds and misconceptions. You will not be able to get funds back. We strongly advise against direct trading in darknet.
- Do you help to resolve conflicts?
- Yes, in case of no agreement between you and the seller, you may ask market administrators to join the dispute.
4. Making payments
- How to pay for order?
- You need one of the following cryptocurrencies:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Monero (XMR)
- Can I pay with credit card?
- No. This would harm your privacy.
5. Buying crypto
- Do I need to buy a whole bitcoin?
- No. Bitcoin is dividible up to 8 decimal points. You may buy any amount, e.g. $500 that is 0.006515 BTC at current market price.
- How much one bitcoin costs?
- Current market price of 1 BTC is $76,746. This may differ a bit on different exchanges. Use clearnet websites like CoinGecko to check price history of many cryptocurrencies.
- Where to buy bitcoins?

- major exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, etc. (require KYC)
- Where to buy monero?

- Where to buy or swap crypto without KYC?
